Top Swing Science Salesman Receives Coveted “Gilmore Award” #fb

August 10th, 2010

Caleb Smith – Receives Gilmore Award (July Salesperson of the Month)

“The most prestigious award in golf right next to the US and British Opens,” according to Swing Science company president Howard Miller.  “Except “The Gilmore” is for the top salesman as opposed to the top golfer for a golf equipment company.”  Caleb Smith lead the pack in the month of July beating out sales comrades that included Dan Costello, Ross MacArthur and Gary Rusie.  The Gilmore came down to the last day of the month with less than $1000 separating Dan Costello from the coveted hardware.  “Around here, the only scores that matter at the office are the high ones,” says Miller.

A Great Product Review of Swing Science Heads #fb

August 10th, 2010

These heads are great. When I saw the prototypes at the Swing Science shop in Orlando last January I was impressed by their looks and sole design. When they became available recently, I ordered a couple for testing and assembled them with a couple of the best shafts I had in my shop. In a word: outstanding. In a phrase: as good as anything out there. Everyone who tried them could hit the ball off the turf with ease. It’s the sole design — essentially no turf drag — and balance of the head. For players who have difficulty getting the Alpha V5 off the turf, the Swing Science is the head to try. I’ve already sold a couple of clubs. The real test of how good these designs play is that they are now in my bag.

Swing Science Wedge Series #fb

August 10th, 2010

“U” Grooves for Maximum Bite

Our new WEDGE SERIES was designed to enhance wedge play with a special emphasis on creating the right launch conditions for a given golfer. The new S Wedge was created for players looking for a traditional ball flight from a scoring wedge while the new T Wedge features a higher CG for creating a lower “tour” launch. Both wedges exhibit CNC Milling on the back cavity as well as the perimeter of the clubhead. Ideal from the rough, sand and fairway, these are extremely versatile wedges that play as great as they look!

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Both wedges use 304 Stainless Steel for soft feel and adjustability.
  • CNC back cavity to position CG to better control launch condition of wedge.
  • T Wedge has a deeper cavity and slightly longer hosel to raise CG for lower launch angle.
  • CNC Face and grooves.
  • CNC Milled Face, Grooves and Top Line
  • Features traditional “U” Grooves for Maximum Bite
